A strategic session on community and regional development was held in Kamianets-Podilskyi.

This event was part of the series of strategic sessions titled “Regional Strategic Planning as an Effective Mechanism for Recovery, Development, and Coordination,” which serve as an essential stage in discussing strategic planning for regional development.

Participants included representatives from regional and local authorities, Regional Development Agencies, the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Members of Parliament, civil society organizations, as well as international partners and international technical assistance projects.

The session’s key focus was strategic planning for the regions of Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Chernivtsi.

During the meeting, the following topics were discussed:
– Results of strategy implementation up to 2025 in various regions;
– Strengths and challenges facing the regions and the factors influencing their development;
– The state of the economy, education, social support for veterans, and business relocation;
– Strategic goals for 2025–2027, considering the current situation in the country.

The event was a significant step toward updating regional development strategies and aligning regional visions with the national strategy.

The outcomes of the session will strengthen veteran support and help develop sustainable strategies to improve living conditions and foster economic growth in each region.
