#LeadEXPORT has officially kicked off in Ivano-Frankivsk!

#LeadEXPORT

On July 30, at the Diia.Business Ivano-Frankivsk space, we held the first regional stakeholder meeting of the new international project Lead EXPORT — “New approach to unleashing export capabilities in a local economy amidst uncertain conditions.”

At the heart of the discussion — small and medium-sized enterprises, the true engine of the economy, even in the toughest times.
The goal of the project is to strengthen the export capacity of local companies through policies that actually work.
Ivano-Frankivsk region is one of nine European regions joining forces for meaningful change.

Why does this matter for our region?
Lead EXPORT will help to:
– adapt effective European practices to our business environment,
– update the Regional International Cooperation Program with the needs of IDPs, relocated businesses, and the EU-integration agenda in mind,
– develop policies that will stimulate SMEs to enter foreign markets.

Participants of the meeting included key actors forming the export ecosystem in Prykarpattia:
– Department of International Cooperation and European Integration of Communities, Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Military Administration
– Department of Economic Development, Industry and Infrastructure of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration
– Kalush City Council
– Dolyna City Council
– Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Branch of the All-Ukrainian Association of Communities
– Ivano-Frankivsk Business Association
– Diia.Business Ivano-Frankivsk
– “Agents of Change” Project and Educational Center, Vasyl Stefanyk Сarpathian National University
– PNU Economics Faculties
– Sustainable Development Office of Bukovel LLC

Together, we are stronger — and the effectiveness of future business-support policies will depend on this very cooperation.
