Regional Economic Development through Cohesion Policy
The first day of the study visit in Bucharest was eventful and productive:
- Meeting at the Ministry of Development, Public Works, and Administration:
Discussions focused on approaches to implementing regional development and cohesion policies. Mr. Liviu Beileșteanu and Ms. Julia Herzog shared their experience in coordinating territorial cooperation programs and managing European funds. - Visit to the Ministry of European Investments and Projects:
Ms. Irina Radu presented a strategy for coordinating funding programs aimed at strengthening regional economies and infrastructure.

Representatives of Romanian ministries shared practical experiences:
- How an integrated approach facilitates the development of regional infrastructure through EU funding.
- How effective collaboration between national and local authorities ensures sustainable project management.
- Which innovative tools are used to support cross-border initiatives.
