#LeadEXPORT We are launching a new project!

#LeadEXPORT
As part of the international Lead EXPORT project under the Interreg Europe Programme, the team of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Development Agency, together with the project’s associated partner — the Department of International Cooperation and European Integration of Communities, took part in an intensive two-day programme focused on export potential development and innovative approaches to cluster cooperation, organized by the main partners from Rzeszów, Poland.

Lead EXPORT is a project aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of SMEs by improving the export skills of local companies to help increase the sales of their products and services in foreign markets.

Export is one of the key drivers of economic growth in the European Union. It contributes to GDP growth in member states, which in turn raises the standard of living. Export allows businesses to operate at larger scales, reducing unit costs and increasing profitability. Access to diverse international markets helps companies better withstand economic fluctuations — especially those caused by challenges common to all project partners, such as the consequences of war and geopolitical instability.

Day 1:
Partner presentations, Steering Committee meetings, strategic planning sessions, and even the filming of a promotional video for the project.
Our team also gave a presentation titled:
“The Impact of Clusters and Smart Specialization on Export Activity in Ivano-Frankivsk Region.”

Day 2:
We visited EME Aero, where aircraft engines are serviced, and the Podkarpackie Science and Technology Park “Aeropolis.”
There, we explored the work of the Aviation Valley Cluster and the Unmanned Systems Cluster — excellent examples of innovation in action!

We sincerely thank our partners for the warm welcome!
We return to Prykarpattia with new experiences, fresh ideas, and great inspiration — all to keep moving our region forward.

The Lead EXPORT project is implemented under the Interreg Europe Programme, co-funded by the European Union.
