Today, the Agency had the pleasure of holding a kick-off press conference on the project ‘Citizen/public and digital transformation of public decision-making processes’, implemented by the Agency within the Interreg Europe.
In collaboration with the Department of digital development, digital transformation and digitalisation, we are exploring ways to enhance democracy, making it more participatory, inclusive and responsive to the needs of citizens through the introduction of new digital instruments and processes.
The participants were graciously offered the opportunity to attend the following presentations:
Presentation of project activities.
Speaker: Tetyana Zbirak, acting director of Regional Development Agency of Ivano-Frankivsk region.
The second presentation was on digital decision-making tools.
Speaker: Ihor Finiak, Head of the Department of digital development, digital transformation and digitalisation at Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration.
The presentation will then move on to the role of digital platforms in ensuring effective decision-making, taking the example of creating a service ecosystem for project management and innovation.
Speaker: Svitlana Kropelnytska, project and cluster research expert, director of the Project-Education center «Agents of Changes» of Vasyl Stefanyk National University, PhD in Economics, associate professor of the department of finance of the Faculty of Economics of Vasyl Stefanyk National University.
The project’s activities include reviewing existing tools, conducting expertise, and improving information and communication tools where citizens collectively discuss community needs and priorities.
We are convinced that the cooperation of 12 partners from different countries within the CIVITEC project will open up new opportunities for interregional cooperation and innovation in regional development.
